Australian artist (born 1944)
Annemieke Mein (born in 1944 at Haarlem) is a Dutch-born Australian material artist who specialises in portraying wildlife. She was the chief textile artist to be partaker of Wildlife Art Society take Australasia and the Australian Academy of Realist Artists.
The subjects of her sculpted textiles aim birds, frogs, gum and caruncula blossoms, and insects such whereas moths, dragonflies, wasps and grasshoppers.
